As beautiful as a butterfly on blossom

What a glorious day it's been and I think I have quite worn myself out trying to make the most of it. Went for a lovely walk round the reservior where I took this and lots of other photos, I was really surprised how many butterflies there were to chose from. I really went in search of young water birds but I think I may be a bit early as there were none to be seen. The walk went on and on and quite by chance we came across a new hide, which was brilliant. I saw lots of water birds but also a lovely little deer appeared in the reeds below the hide and several small birds which I have yet to identify, I had a great time. The downside was we then had to walk all the way back and found out how far we had actually wandered - rather a long way. Back home now and I intend to do very little for the rest of the day :-)
