Walk

Fika and a walk in my neighborhood with long time friend Mary who has moved to a retirement home.  Great to see her on this summery day.   Here by the Fairview St Bridge and Seattle Seaplanes.  (We’ve flown these long ago to the island when they were pretty inexpensive.    No more.)    Only photo I have from today...don't ask why it's f4.!  :-)   Mary came and stayed on our sailboat with me in the early days and was very helpful..... (we determined where the bc hydro poles could go by bushwhacking up the hill. )

Hard to think positive today after yesterday’s shooting in Texas.   This country exceeds all the other countries together in the world by a large percentage for mass school shootings.   How is this even thinkable.

2 more sleeps and we’ll be in Canada…spent some time and a lot of work (also depressing) making my studio room habitable for a friend coming to stay before we get back.    Needs a lot more serious cleaning out.   (Aren't I always sayin that?)
