Lilac buds about to burst

The lilac tree I inherited when I moved in has some rotten branches but is soo beautiful I just don't want to prune it yet till it gives up its glorious display of flowers and scent. I do get very impatient in spring and this year it feels more frustrating but seedling are sprouting as we speak so smiles here in this garden.
