Looking for a mate.

This swan was one of dozens at Chester-Le Street river side today.
He was displaying, and chasing after females, non of whom were interested.
I know that children love to feed ducks and swans, but I wish their parents would stop them from throwing whole slices into the water. Even the seagulls showed no interest in it, but we did see one catch a fish.
