I feel accomplished today.
Largely because I’ve been left alone, in my office, so I’ve been able to crack on with things. I’ve still got a ‘to do’ list as long as my arm, but I feel pleased that I’m making decent headway.

I had a session with our compliance provider on Monday and he was stunned when I said I’d only been in the job since March; he was impressed with how much I’ve done so far.
He said he was confident that if the CQC turned up tomorrow, we would pass their inspection but I’m not taking any chances.
I’m making 1000% certain that we are ready.

Audits are next on my list; I’ve never done an audit in my life, but the great thing about our compliance company is that they attach an ‘idiots guide’ to everything, so I should be ok!
