Ringed plover

It is our last day on Mull before heading home. This morning we headed over to the beach at Ardalanish for a walk. It was very windy, so was definitely a bracing walk! But enjoyable nonetheless. There were lots of sandmartins flitting about. We also saw a sanderling (had to look that one up when we got back to the caravan), oystercatchers and ringed plover.

it was quite showery in the afternoon, so we didn't do very much. The rest of the day was otherwise spent just packing and tidying up, ready for leaving tomorrow morning.
