Backyard on Repina Street

I guess "backyard" is one of most frequently used words in my blips. That's because one typically thing of the historical center of Saint Petersburg are its backyards. Some are quite terrible, dirty, horrifying, but mostly they are very picturesque, even or especially if the houses are not in a good condition.

This backyard is about 3 minutes walk from us on the Repin Street and I took the picture on my way home from the grocers.

Ilya Repin was a great Russian painter that lived in Saint Petersburg.
