Heron, framed

I took Laura to Birdland today for her first visit and although we didn't have any sun there was only the odd spit of rain. I was torn with what to blip and as it turns out you are getting three photos that are not of Birdland residents. Mr Heron was framed so beautifully on this branch above the river that he had to be my main shot. In extras, a squirrel on the woodland walk part of Birdland and a mayfly which landed very close to us. (all best viewed against the black background)
