Mmm cake

Met up with a friend today for lunch and cake at John Lewis. This was the dessert-a totally gorgeous (and ridiculously expensive) piece of chocolate mousse cake with a cheesecake base. Utterly lush.

Am sitting waiting at the train station for my ride home now. Thankfully, a change from Thursday evening, there are seats available on the platform so my poor feet and hips can have a rest. I did get an odd sudden burst of energy today which was welcome. Was probably all that sugar in my dessert ;-)
