Still-life on a Rainy Day

The weather today has provided little incentive to go outside - wind, rain and mist. An ideal day to make an apple crumble - something I have put off for a couple of weeks. Also a chance to do some reading. On our recent visit to Tate St Ives I bought a copy of a book by Kelly Grovier "A New Way of Seeing: The History of Art in 57 Works". The book provides a thoughtful and fascinating insight into many great works of art.
