The drive to work

When I work in Schull, on the south side of the Mizen peninsula, I drive over a mountain - this is at the very top looking south over Schull harbour. It was a bit grey when I took this picture. And apologies for a sloping horizon!!

In the summer the harbour is full of visiting and local sailing boats. The island stretching from the right of the photo is Long Island, the one stretching from the left is Cape Clear Island. The Fastnet lighthouse is just off Cape Clear but not visible today - I've sailed around it - gorgeous sail - and seen whales and dolphins out in those waters.
