Coasters

I simply had to blip these today! They're a set of hand-crafted coasters brought all the way from Australia and given to me yesterday to thank me for the 2 days of digital photography tuition I'd given a couple of tourists.

I was utterly amazed when I unwrapped the gift. How very kind of them! I'd been thinking, as I tidied the studio prior to their arrival, that my coasters were showing their age (18 years) so now I have this lovely wooden set to adorn the studio coffee table made by The Mate.

I don't know whether you would say they are fretted, pierced, or laser cut, but each shows an Australian creature. I love them.
