Apple Red

I couldn’t resist the red cardinal sitting in the neighbor’s apple tree • The Spring Cleanup items were picked up by city workers this morning. We’re so thankful for the dry weather recently because last year’s stuff sat in the rain for several days. I don’t know why it’s bothersome seeing things you want to get rid of exposed to the elements but neither of us were too fond of it • Out of sight, Out of mind is better • Today we planted scarlet runner beans, borage and sunflowers, all seeds. Tomorrow we plan to put in a few different ones. I’ll be covering the cucamelons both tonight and tomorrow night with temps dipping to 40F.
