A long drive north to meet up and spend a few days with special friends, including blip's own Keen Ken. 
After lunch we had a walk round Spofforth Castle (more a fortified Manor house. Please see extra.) An impromptu, and unintended longer walk than planned then followed, where we saw hares, a kite, heron and miles of lovely sunny countryside.
Soon to bed, with tired feet and full stomachs from a tasty evening meal out.
