Back In Michigan

I was thinking to myself how great Chicago, NYC, and Philadelphia are to photograph, when I noticed the light falling on this broken-down old barn as I drove past it. I pulled over, did a u-turn and went back to shoot it. I love the shadows from the missing slats in the roof and all of the textures from the weathered wood and weeds.

I am so thankful because there is beauty all around us in the simplest of things. And, reminded it just takes a little effort to see it.

Last, I want everyone to know I truely appreciate all of the many kind and thoughtful comments from the Blipmosphere the past few days. I will try to stay off of my soap box.
