Ale’s well that ends well

Second day of clearing the marquee and surrounds was less pleasant than the first due to the incessant rain. We were soaked. However we did manage to clear the bottles and the leftover booze completely and, rather than pour it down the sink, we rescued the cask of beer for a few days’ home consumption. Had to be done. J&L are still with us, as is M. They will probably all depart tomorrow. Then we will all be a bit sad that the big party has come to an end.
