By the Wey
Today's theme for mono-Monday (The Wind in the Willows) took me down to the Wey near Waverley Abbey, where I knew there was a beautiful willow tree dipping into the river.
Photograph taken, we decided to find Crooksbury Hill and walk to the top as recently described by fellow blipper DawnP https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2973195635462769247 . I have learned about a few new places to visit in the local area by reading Dawn's journal entries. As Dawn says, there is a wonderful view from the top of the hill. It was also a good opportunity to try out my new walking poles - £15 from Aldi. I like them; I found them helpful for stability on the rough ground.
