The last load...

...of slurry in the field, with Jussi harrowing. I managed to finish spreading slurry today, but not continue seeding.

There were a couple of distractions. First I had to fetch my father from Jussi's school, where he took his car in for service, and later take him back there to bring it home, and I had to take some gravel to the road to these fields. Jussi brought some stones there yesterday and he had done a good job filling a couple of spots where the road was soft, but the gravel still helped a bit. I was afraid the road would not be good enough for the heavy loads, because there are many places where the underground cable trench has made it soft and uneven. It was much better now than a few days ago, but still just barely good enough.

Anyway, the slurry is now done. Tomorrow more seeding. We'll see how far we get with it. There's risk of a little rain on Wednesday evening and more coming on Thursday, so better get it done soon.
