Politeness

A wet day, some sunshine at the end of the day.

Busy day.  Had a chat with my friend who had a lovely weekend.  Went to do housework for another friend, also put petrol in the car, a bit of a shock at the price!  Came home had a coffee and did some paperwork.  Had lunch soup and cheese scone. K came round and we had a cup of tea and later went for a walk. 
Hadn't taken a photo, looked at the challenge, went to find my copy of Wind in the Willows, nowhere to be seen!  It would have been cheating I suppose if I had? Anyway you now have a poem from a book I've had since childhood.  I nearly chose Independence as think that is apt:) Also like this one
