Tapestry

At last we saw the 70 m long Bayeux Tapestry illustrating in a marvellous way the happenings leading to and of the battle of Hastings in 1066. William the Conqueror was naturally a central figure in the story.  

The Normandy holiday's first day was rainy but my birthday so I was happy throughout.
