Acts of deliberate notice

Seeds of joy

A couple of weeks ago I planted up four pots of herbs. The first seedlings to raise their heads were the basils. For a few days they were the only ones, then all in a rush the parsleys and corianders shot up to join them.

These tiny coriander seedlings have grown from nothing to this in only three days. Today I lifted their sandwich bag greenhouse lid to find them bedecked with tiny jewel-like water droplets. I particularly liked the one at the front, holding out its droplet like a gift.
