Rings

The weather was mixed today, it was fine first thing when we visited the Ring of Brodgar, but as you can see in the main blip, the clouds were gathering.  We sheltered in Skerries Bistro during the heaviest downpour, (the Scallops are highly recommended!) before heading back North to visit the Broch of Gurness, one of the best preserved Neolithic Brochs that are dotted around the Highlands.  See extras for Broch and standing guard!
