Newport High Street

I went to the Pharmacy in the village this morning to collect our prescriptions and took this on the way. The buds are all opening on the Horse Chestnut and Ash trees along the lane and the allotments are currently looking very tidy. I was going to blip the buds, but because the High Street was so empty and the shadows showed that it was actually sunny, I decided on this one.

An early blip for me as I want to watch the F1 Qualy today, (on the German channel,) and do my nails, which did not get done yesterday; I shall also do my toes I think, in the hope that Spring really is here and I can wear sandals. I should be doing the garden, like Mr A, while the weather is so good, but I also have a lot of marking to do with more coming in next week. I will catch up with commenting on your journals as soon as I can.
