More Excitement

The day rushed past. I got the Sunday papers and made a bacon roll for the first time in weeks. There was packing too. And then a brief call in at the daughter’s to see the denouement of the season down south on their shonky "subscription" service. We seemed to change channels at the wrong time and missed both Liverpool going ahead and Man City incredibly coming back from 2-0 down by scoring three times in five minutes.
And then a real emergency - my shorts came out a much needed wash in holes. M&S closing in 25 minutes. Off we shot and just got there in time. Phew! Living dangerously, eh?
