Ride a Black Swan

Well a very unusual sight down at the Promenade this morning ...

An escapee/ usurper .. a black swan no less trying to infiltrate the Gravesend Thames Swan Posse.. a rare sight indeed , well in the wild at least.

Strike that above as i have just found an Independant report stating that they are not as rare as maybe thought with a confirmed 37 pairs of nesting birds , This one however appears to be on its own ...
More research here me thinks :)
