My latest camera guide arrived from a used book seller in the UK. "Canon EOS 50D The Expanded Guide" by Andy Stansfield.

This author does a great job of explaining many of the things that the factory manuals do not adequately cover, and offers all kinds of practical advice for better photography.

The whole series of "Expanded Guides" by various authors, are published by Ammonite Press.
