Our new house number plate

Which Paula made with loving care. several sanding stages and varnish and it was just a piece of wood she found in the garage, we already had the varnish and wood stain so apart from the making of it all it cost was the price of the numbers. The knot just adds a bit of interest to it I think.

We have the number on the garage door but no one seems to see it there

A pleasant dog walk this morning when we sat for ages on a seat and watched the world go by. Then I spent most of the rest of the day digging out a load of buttercups which had grown between 2 fences one solid and one chicken wire, it was hard going getting the spade half under the wire to dig them up, meanwhile Paula vacuumed out the car and the small vac we use gave up the ghost so she had to use the house vac. then she decided to wash the upholstery. I also washed the dog covers from the car, got them dry outdoors as it was quite breezy. 
A very full but tiring day. So tonight relaxed and watched the programme I recorded yesterday about Celine Deon nice to relax and listen to her singing. then we watched Grace

The Peppers have flowers and the tomato plants have little tomatoes setting now. All is growing well in the greenhouse. Must get the sunflowers in tomorrow, they are getting very tall.
