The Heron Family...

A relaxing Sunday morning and then I took my mom to go see the herons. It's the first time I gone on a walk with her since she started to use a cane. We "benched" it around the park and saw many herons, red-winged blackbirds (male and female), a few ducks - including a dozen little ones and a few other common birds. It was pretty hard to choose a main photo but I rarely see a whole heron family together so...  In the extra you have a little one being fed, a heron with a bad feather day, one in flight, and a young heron flapping its wings. A wonderful way to spend a Sunday
