Grand Hotel & Tax Office

Bradford Morning again on the way to work.

The building on the left is the Midland Hotel (It could grace a Paris district or that of any great European City) on the right, on the site of the destroyed Forster Square Station is the local home of the Inland Revenue - not bad but worthy of a sharp modern office park (Like Hoofdorp outside Amsterdam or Stockley Park near Heathrow).

Somehow the Bradford City Planners thought that the two would mix nicely.

This view will soon be obscured by a nice shopping centre.
