Not just any old roadside verge

This is the strip of verge adjacent to our garden that the Council have no interest in and we have been restoring for 4 or 5 years.  We still have to do the odd bit of mowing and strimming and removal of clippings to further reduce the soil fertility, but it's looking good with red clover, buttercups and yellow rattle now in flower.
