Done. Finally

Finally finished Kara’s climbing frame, slide, den today. It was quite an effort to do it all. As I mentioned in a previous blip I hadn’t really realised that ‘assembly required’ meant ‘here are the bits of wood you work everything else out’. I learnt a lot about putting together things from Jen’s Dad the first weekend (it took 3 in total) and then did most of the rest myself with some help from Jen when I need someone to hold stuff or to help make sense of the instructions!

Now that it is done I’m quite proud of it and thing it looks great. Kara loves the slide and the extended den part. She’s also quite happy to climb to the top of both the block and rock climbing sides unassisted.
