2702. The bridge at Deventer

We left Brussels first thing and headed towards Bremen stopping at Deventer on the way to see the bridge where the film, “A Bridge Too Far” was shot. It’s a beautiful town with a busy centre square and there was a kids decathlon on today too so it was buzzing. Had a delicious lunch in the square before starting the long journey to Bremen. Now at our hotel in Bremen which is lovely and so close to the town. Back on reliable Wi-Fi but too tired to look at journals tonight…. Maybe tomorrow…..
