Lifeboat Crewman
This morning G and I went to a photoshoot which we thought was the launch of a new lifeboat at Sheringham, actually it was the old lifeboat that's been fitted with new engines. This didn't turn out to be a good thing, as the engines have broken down on several occasions including this morning and they'd quite like their old engines back! There is fundraising going on for a new lifeboat for Sheringham as the current one is nearing the end of its working life. So as we couldn't get nice action shots of the boat in the water, for our previously agreed donation this poor crewman was bought out as a model for us to take photos. I have plenty of shots of him smiling, but I liked this pensive shot which suited mono. We were also shown round the station and got to go out on the viewing platform which was nice - I've added extras of them attempting to repair the engine and of a mascot in one of the offices.
No fledging today in the end, but lots of wing flapping and hopping up to look out of the side window - I'm hoping to get a shot of that tomorrow.
