Can't beat a good plant sale
We visited Kilbryde Castle today which was open as part of Scotland's Garden Scheme. Beautiful woodland walk and formal gardens with hundreds of species of rhododendrons.
There were several specialist nurseries with plant stalls and despite my best intentions I've bought an eryngium 'magical Anita' to add to my already full herbaceous border. To make room I've taken out one of the delphiniums which has suffered badly from slug damage and I'll try and nurse it back to life.
