It pays to look up

Apologies for delays in responses on Blip. You get behind a couple of days at it appears you have a mountain of work to process. Hope to be up to date early next week.

Today was the result of spontaneous decisions largely around ensuring I had appropriate clothing for a wedding next weekend.  It came to pass that Mrs Chrispy gave the thumbs down to my existing wardrobe so off to Stratford we went. Result of shopping expedition was positive but negative on my bank balance.

Decided to have lunch in Stratford. Criteria for selection of restaurant was 1 they had space 2 they had space outdoors and 3 they had more on the menu than Sunday Roast. Had our lunch in a place called Lambs. Was it a good choice? Well nothing was left on our plates and the service was excellent. We will go back.

Went for a walk after lunch along the river and I noticed this interesting lamp post. Would have missed this if I hadn’t looked up.

Late amendment 

As I was sitting in the garden doing my Blip work this visitor turned up. Mrs C was able to get a shot off but the visit was fleeting unfortunately
