Nothing like a last-minute winner
Opening game of the season for Ottawacker Jr. against one of the "wealthy clubs" from the west end. It all started pretty badly. Ottawacker Jr. was in goal and suffered a McManaman/Tim Flowers moment. He went down to stop a poorly hit daisy cutter - only for it to hit a divot in front of him and fly in over his head. He was still looking for the ball 30 seconds later. He came out of nets at half-time with the score 2-2 - and the second half was a wild ride. With a minute to go it was 5-5, then his team snatched a dramatic winner with seconds to go. A nice way to end the game and seal victory.
