Over on the Emma Davies Photo School Camera Club, our project this month is to make a collection of mundane things. I've been photographing street lights. This is an example of a Cockey Lamp, something that is unique to Frome.

Originally used for gas lighting, they were converted to electricity by another foundry in Frome and that's when the Art Nouveau leaves were added.
