Naked Trees…..

Early this morning Maisie, wearing her bright yellow hi-vis jacket, and I walked upstream to the Burleigh Bridge and back. There is still a small amount of water flowing in the river and the Lombardy Poplars are naked.
This afternoon daughter Margaret and I went to a 2.pm Matinee performance of “Les Miserables”. Although I’d been to the show last Friday, Margaret was keen to see it as she has always loved the story and music. Another stirring performance by all. We are so lucky to have such talent here in Marlborough.
