It was a beautiful day today but I only got as far as the plot for a while and then the front garden later on. I was going to go farther afield but I had a bit of a shock when I phoned Halfords to see if there was any chance that my bike was ready. Turns out the one missing spoke has turned into both wheels needing replaced and the bill has gone from £20 to£250! It's where the brakes grab onto the wheel and they were both pretty concave apparently. I do have insurance to cover it but I'm considering maybe getting  a new one through the cycle to work scheme sooner than I was going to as according to the guy it will end up happening again in the future. So according to my research this morning disc brakes are the way to go!
