Foxglove Buds

We had a lovely day with our family today…our son, daughter and husband and the two grandchildren came for lunch…and I got to try out the new barbecue which seemed to work rather well!

The girls had great fun running around the garden with the bubble machines and playing in the giant cardboard box that the barbecue came in! They also told us all about their trip to Disney which seemed to have gone very well!

We played a new board game to finish off the afternoon - “Ticket To Ride, First Journey” which is a simplified version of the full game…the children loved that too.

Everyone has gone now, including the two dogs…hoping for a quieter evening…

We have several of these foxglove spikes growing - they all seem to be pale colours (at the moment).
