despite Calmacs best efforts to mess us up. With all the ferry cancellations they claimed they had tried to contact us - they hadn't - to try and get us to go to Barra and get the ferry from there. We were up at 5 am to make sure we were in Loch Maddy in plenty of time as the first sailing was at 7.00 to find they had cancelled our booking without telling us. Had to go on standby but managed to get on. Thanks to the staff, who try to do their best and shame on the management who have sat on their hands all these years.
