Rafe’s Party day

Sadly we didn’t go, I’m still positive and symptomatic (day 6). So the bottom of this fabulous cake was used for all the party bags and any gobblers, who wanted a slice.
The Number 5 is for the family get together tomorrow to Celebrate Rafe’s Birthday and give him presents. …………..
Our daughter made this cake, she made 2 layer bottom slab filled with jam and butter cream between the sponges, then on top is a double layer number 5 again filled with jam and butter cream. All home made, I’m rather proud of her, especially as I wasn’t able to give her any support. I’m really looking forward to our slices being delivered to our door tomorrow.
