Finished prepping the sitting room ready for the decorator and then caught the bus to the station. I love the mock gothic Victorian building and they have preserved the outside and the main hall and platforms really well. I got a takeaway coffee from one of the outlets on the platform and was surprised to see that it still has its full Victorian wall tiling and fireplace. Not sure it works quite so well with the modern tatty table though!
All trains were busy but a smooth journey. Had a leisurely walk up to Ds, pottering in a few shops and stopping for tea and a scone. Arrived at the flat at the same time as A. Went to Malaysian round the corner for dinner in the pouring rain - delicious- and then onto grad costume show. Some amazing pieces and so lovely to feel the excitement in the air.
