Pitching Again...Game 7

Merrick got to pitch a couple of innings tonight against a team of kids that are from the city where he lives. I thought it was going to be close for awhile, but our team ended up winning 14-3.

He did well pitching, walking 2, but also striking out 4. He went 1 for 2 at the plate, with a strikeout and a big hit over the leftfielder's head.

We are supposed to have another game tomorrow, but the weather forecast does not look good. Michigan made the national news tonight with a tornado in Gaylord, Michigan. It is 180 mikes north of us, and it looked like it did a lot of damage.
