Youngsters

On Wednesday, my laptop seemed to have died. So yesterday, I took it into a small repair shop expecting to hear the worst. 
The young lad working there, (sharp as a tack),  had it fired up to diagnostics within seconds and told me the hard drive had crashed and the OS was corrupted.
I left it with him and picked it up today. A new SSD drive and new windows install for about $120, (GBP75). He said it should be good for another few years. I fired it up as soon as I got home, it's purring along now. 
The Victoria Day long weekend traffic on the highway heading east was choc-a-bloc as earl;y as noon, I would have hated to be in it a few hours later.
Oh, nearly forgot. Some crispy skinned salmon and asparagus for dinner.

Ah well...
