Arcade

A morning spent in Stirling, where I managed to get a few things done.

Passing through the covered Arcade I came across another in the series of augmented reality artworks (pictured) under the banner of 'Street Stories' that are situated around the city centre.
The basic principle is that one downloads an app on one's phone, points the phone at the artwork and it comes 'alive' with movement, sound and 3D effects. This one by Rachel Davies "celebrates the raw materials of Scotland and the building of
Stirling Castle."

A family get-together in the evening, what might be called in other circles as an 'intergenerational event' but for us was simply good fun .
