Disintegrating

I'm not sure that there's anything mysterious about this, but the visually interesting decay, probably sun-induced, is shedding bits of plastic all around it. It protected a spare greenhouse pane which has stood in the corner of the greenhouse since before we moved here nine years ago. This year's unusual greenhouse hygiene drive led me to move it - at which point much of it disintegrated.
