Happy 8th Birthday

CyclopsJnr was 8 today.

When we went to get our bikes to go to school, he discovered a new bike with a big glittery bow on it in the garage!  He's pretty excited to have a new bike, especially one with a water bottle, suspension, disc brakes and 9 gears!  He managed perfectly on it straight away.  Hopefully he'll get as much joy out of this one as he has previous bikes.

He had a great day at school (drum lesson, rugby) and enjoyed his ride back too.

In the evening we had more presents (including one from Granny which she came on a video call to watch him open).  The present ceremony (!) concluded with a treasure hunt, and the prize at the end was a DVD of Encanto which we watched while eating takeaway together on the sofa.

There were cupcakes with candles to celebrate too!
