Cargo bike

A number of us opposed to Project A met this morning to discuss strategy. We’d all been communicating by email and decided we need to meet to put names to faces and to discuss hii or w we were going to work together.

Several good ideas came up leading to several actions prior to the next full council meeting in June.

The bike belongs to one of our group who is a keen cyclist and cycling activist. He’s able to transport quite heavy loads on that platform and has a number of different boxes that fit in the space.

This afternoon we took Doreen to the hospital for another eye check. All’s well. It’s getting increasingly difficult to get her in and out of the car and wheelchair. Perhaps the next step will be using patient transport.
