Pictures At An Exhibition
Picked up three pictures from the framers and dropped off two more to be done. As those latter two will be hung in the bedroom, we now know what needs to be hung in the rest of the house - predominately the lounge, which has three walls bereft of art - as we’ve also brought down pretty well everything that was stored in the loft. And they’ve all been piled up in the corner of the lounge to force us to do something with them rather than just ignoring them and hoping the issue will go away! A couple of pieces left to Mrs C by her grandmother will not be reframed or hung, but will be carefully stored away as, though we don’t want to look at them on a daily basis, we also don’t want to get rid of them. Which leaves ten pictures of varying sizes to find homes for. In a room that probably has room for seven pictures at most. Something will have to give, and I suspect there may be some difficult decisions to make as we both like nearly everything. But I suspect we differ widely as to which ones we would ditch if pushed.
Quite a lot of the pictures have a bit of a back story to them so they may well end up being blip subjects over the next few days, if nothing more exciting (interesting?) crops up.
Now, where did I leave that hammer…
